Interviewing is like dating, and your are making good points.

But also, as in dating, it really depends on what you are looking for.

I like to settle down, to pick a prospective employer I could envision myself working for for the rest of my live. I think about what I would like to do their.

As a result I don't mind displaying some of my flaws. I want them to decide during the interview process if they want to work with me.

Now I want them to want to work with me :) I want the job I'm interviewing for.

But I was pretty up front about what makes a position unnattractive to me, and why I might not be the best fit.

I'm sure I'll find something useful to do, for someone.

So I work my contacts, and I try to make sure that the longer I've known a person, the more they would like to work with me :)

Is dating like that?

Instead of being honest and writing actual crappy jobs you had to take during hard economic times just lie or leave a giant blank spot in your resume. That always works. It is always much better looking on a resume having a giant, unemployed, blank spot than demonstrating you actually went out in the world and did what was needed to survive.

Check #9. You've used "typos" as a plural, but punctuated it as a possessive.
